Cortex
Cortex is a personal AI operating system that lets one person operate like an engineering team, a research group, and a strategy firm at once. I built it around a growing roster of specialized agents — each scoped to a domain, calibrated to my standards, and available the moment I need them.
How it works
Agents are defined in markdown: role, personality, expertise, and constraints. They run in parallel on a multi-agent orchestration platform — type a goal, watch agents work, get results. A Project Manager agent (Kael) handles orchestration, breaking big problems into tasks and delegating to the right specialists.
Two layers support the agents: the Roster (the full collection of agents and their composable skills) and the Blueprint (the personal memory and reference layer that makes every agent work specifically for me).
The roster
- Build — AI Engineer, Frontend Designer/Developer, Data Engineer, DevOps Engineer
- Review & Document — Spec Generator, Code Reviewer, Documentation Engineer, User Tester
- Research & Analyze — Research Analyst, Data Scientist, Competitive Intelligence
- Strategize — Business Strategist, Project Manager, Marketing Strategist
- Write & Reach — Personal Writer, Outreach Strategist, Career Strategist
- Advise — Legal Assistant, Financial Strategist, Stock Analyst
The agents share a growing library of reusable skills covering everything from RAG system design to contract review to dbt development.
