I founded District Data Labs as a data science consulting and training company and grew it from zero to more than $1M in revenue.

We delivered custom data science solutions, corporate training programs, and hands-on workshops for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and startups.

The Full Consulting Lifecycle

Building DDL meant doing the work around the work: earning trust, diagnosing the real problem, shaping a scope that could succeed, assembling the right team, and staying accountable through delivery. It gave me firsthand experience of the decisions that make technical engagements valuable to a client—not just technically interesting.

What It Means for AI Work Today

That experience shapes how I approach AI strategy today. A useful system needs more than a strong technical design; it needs a clear business case, the right operating model, credible ownership, and a practical path from pilot to adoption.
