Work With Me
I work with a small number of companies and leaders each year on the decisions that determine whether AI projects deliver — architecture choices, governance decisions, organizational dynamics that don't get surfaced until they've already cost you something. I'm accountable for what I recommend.
The engagements below are for leadership teams, founders, and boards who want someone who's actually built the kind of systems they're considering, can demonstrate it, and will say on the record what they should do. If your situation fits one of the categories below, a 30-minute conversation is the right next step.
Executive Briefings
A half- or full-day strategy session with your leadership team, built around the framework in Collaborative AI and applied directly to the decisions you're facing right now.
The session is structured in three parts: a working diagnostic of where you are and what's stuck, the core framework mapped to your specific situation, and a facilitated decision session on three or four of the decisions you actually need to make. You leave with a clear shared view across the team and a written memo of recommendations within a week.
Most leadership teams make more progress on their AI strategy in those few hours than in the previous six months. The session compresses what a consulting firm would deliver over months — at peer level, with one accountable person, and without the diluted handoffs.
I run a small number of briefings each quarter. Pre-work from your team is required.
Best for: leadership teams making foundational AI decisions, boards orienting to AI strategy, executive teams stuck between competing internal AI proposals.
Advisory
Ongoing engagements with companies making consequential AI bets — typically one monthly structured working session plus async access for the decisions in between.
You're not getting strategy in the abstract. You're getting judgment shaped by actively building the kind of system you're trying to build — the same framework and operating system, applied to your specific decisions.
I cap advisory at a small number of active seats. The standard engagement is 12 months and renews by mutual agreement.
Best for: founders, CEOs, and boards who want a senior technical judgment-holder on the AI decisions that will define the next two years.
Fractional & Principal
For the work that needs more than a monthly session — fractional Chief AI Officer, fractional CDO, or principal-consulting engagements where I'm actively doing the work, not just advising on it.
I take on one or two of these at a time, typically one to two days a week. The engagement brings the same framework and operating system into your environment as working tools, not just as reference material.
This is the version of the work for organizations that need the operator embedded in the work, not the operator on retainer.
Best for: companies past the strategy phase and into the build, where senior, hands-on AI judgment is the bottleneck.
